Bramhall Rangers VOID Puss in Boots

Dropping like flies!

Well it was a sad night for the Ranger’s; as for the first time in their history they were unable to scrape a team together for a Thursday night. Previous games had seen us switch nights and even draft in randoms but alas this week the gods were against us.

However, what I do find hard to believe is that Puss in Boots could not switch it to any other night between now and the end of the season. Maybe they feared us that much. That’s another story…

So, with no match report, I thought I would give a run down of the injuries and appointments that crippled the team:

Belly – Suffering from a complaint that usually halts incontinent old ladies, Belly’s dodgy knee was the source of all his woes. Maybe the cold is bringing on a bout of “old lady-itus”.

Mr T – A combination of “the sniffles” (as Piggy said) and the trots (after a dodgy buffet) ruled out the nipper. Never a nice combination and an unusual “injury”, The Fist will be blowing out of both ends.

Dr Holland – Maybe after a good start to his Rangers career the cigs and beers are finally catching up with officially the most unfit man in world history. Another to suffer from the “sniffles” this week, ruled out again!

Hedderz – as with many weeks previous, the rescue crew did try all possible procedures to free Hedderz, but the thumb was just pressed too tightly on his head. Resigned to a life of isolation, is his Rangers career coming to an abrupt end?

Rascle – As with others, a recurring injury kept out the big defender. Suffering from a back injury that Christopher Reeve would be proud of, there was little point risking it on a cold winter night. Two missed on the trot for Rascle…

Shiz – understandably ditched a cold November night to attend a jolly free bar and buffet for the great British tradition that is BT (?). Had been expected for a while now so wasn’t factored into the line-up.

The only available players were Mini (eager to play outfield for the first time in 2 months), Pie (eager as always), Piggy (ready and raring) and Nev (always gives his all).

Hopefully a full week with no game will be a welcome rest. The team should be fresh and chomping at the bit for next week’s game.

Final Score: Bramhall Rangers VOID Puss in Boots (tho will go down as 0-10)

I’d like to make a point of saying although we didn’t play yesterday, I was still ready and able to turn up, so technically I am not losing my 100% record.

"is his Rangers career coming to an abrupt end?" Akin to putting a mangy dog out of its misery.

Sadly looks like it will be only the 2/3 games this season.

There's no I in team John. That 100% record is well and truely gone, vamoussed, exited stage left, poped it's clogs.
