Upcoming Rangers Events
Two events upcoming.
Firstly, there is the Bramhall Rangers Invitational against Indus Milan. The pitch is booked for 4pm.
Current team for the Rangers is Belch, Pie, Mini, Shiz, Lifey, with hopefully Nev too. Rascle is hoping to film the game, Charlotte and Piggy will be in support (and possible refereeing the game too!).
Current team for Indus Milan is Flower, Newton, Sharma, Sanghvi and Adams.
Secondly, with this season being the last (at least for the foreseeable) the End Of Season Awards will also be an End Of Era Awards too! This will now take place on Saturday 16th June. Venue not confirmed yet, but hoping to be Frankie & Bennys in Stockport. Any suggestions for awards for not only the final season, but also for the whole time of Powerleague are welcome.

I think there should be an award for the most memorable guest appearance for the Rangers...there have been over 30 guest appearances over the years including Gregg, Abrar, Jim, Grim, Stu to name but a few. Maybe this should be narrowed down to 5 or so and then a vote held.
It could be "The David Guest sponsored Guest Appearance Award"...
I will try and think of some more, besides the obvious Hall of Fame Inductees!!
Lets have one award for every game ever played!
What was the name of that footballers cousin? The one that played half a game and was rubbish. We should have that award for the player that talked the talk, but never walked the walk!
Ali Dia award!!!
Blackburn boss Graeme Souness, during his time as Southampton manager, was duped by a man claiming to be the cousin of a former world footballer of the year.
Ali Dia had persuaded his agent to ring the former Liverpool and Rangers boss and pretend he was George Weah ringing about his relative, who just happened to be a highly talented striker he was representing.
The agent claimed Dia had played 13 internationals for Senegal and that Weah was certain he would succeed in the Premiership.
Souness' curosity obviously got the better of him and he gave Dia a one-month contract.
But the painful truth emerged about his real identity when Dia was introduced as a substitute against Leeds.
The Ali Dia deal embarrassed Souness
His performance was so diabolical that Souness had to substitute the substitute after just 53 painful minutes.
Needless to say, his contract was rapidly terminated and he joined Gateshead, who eventually let him go in February 1997.
He has not been heard of since.
So thats Gregg then eh Russ? :p
I would have thought it should be "End of an Error Awards"!
