Close match, that everyone agreed was played well. They had a fantastic guy who did so many darting runs. i'm starting to think we're getting a bit old for all this now! those young pups are killing us!

Anyway, looks like john got 1, justin 2, piggy 2, mini 6? Can anyone confirm?
And finally, if you READ this, please add a comment as to what you took away from this match. I learnt to cover where the free kick is taken, not from where the foul is, as the ref moved the sodding ball over 18 feet away. I only ask you to do this, as when i questioned piggy, he changed the subject twice, made a joke once, and was silent for the 6th time. on the 7th time of laughing he said he learnt not to play on a dodgy ankle. So suffice to say he learnt nothing. AGAIN! Anyone else think this is beginning to sound like a stuck record? He did have a better game, but I REALLY want him to take it one step at a time, and take something from each game. Lets hope mini took "not falling over" away from this game, because he managed admirably!

I think you will find Piggy got no goals, i got 2 and Big Rick got one. Add to that Justin's 2 and Mini's 6 gives you the 11 goals we got. :)
I am getting increasingly frustrated with Piggy because I go into everygame giving him the benefit of the doubt when he says he is up for it and has really learnt from the previous week.
Since the 2 vids he has remarkably gotten even poorer, so maybe rather than have the effect of spurring him on to play better it had the adverse affect of shattering his confidence even more.
I only noticed recently after Russ pointed out that he stands on the side with his arms folded and day dreaming. He always used to be really bouncy and eager but now he doent seem interested to get back on.
His scoring record is poor for a striker, he is still the main striker for the team dont forget as he has no other attributes. Myself and Justin do more work in defence and playmaking than him but i would class myself in midfield and justing is quite defensive in his positioning.
It is clear that Piggy is being carried through games as he has provided (recently anyway) no outlet to take pressure off defence and you cant rely on him to get a goal to put us level or bring us back into the game.
It is amazing to think that a person can learn so little over the years in one discipline. The problem we face tho is when we start dropping people the footy becomes less of a matey kickabout which it stared as and more serious. However, people are beginning to enjoy it less as loads of the good work the team done is then undone in seconds of madness!!
The only way it would be justifies for Piggy to sit one out is to volunteer himself to come and watch but not play. That way he may learn more as being there but not playing my ignite the fire again.
Anyhoo, that is my rant.
