Awards Evening
It looks like it's going to be a quiet one this year, but the awards ceremony is taking place on Feb 10th. The plan is to go for an Indian at 7pm then onto the Queen's Head for the awards.
So far the attendees are Me, Amy, Mini, Charlotte, John and Piggy. If anyone else wants to go let me know asap as I will be booking the meal on Monday most likely.

Emailed Lifey, and he said will most probably come. Said he would like a life time achievement award or something!!
We can confirm tonight, but that should be one more on the tally...
:):)
I just wanted to add that, yes I do understand that people have other things that they want to do, and may be booked up to see old friends/uni mates that they havent seen for a while. Thats fine, not that its up to us to decide what is fine.
But, just consider this.
People who have done the awards in the past ie. Russ and J and now this time Belly actually go to alot of effort to make it enjoyable. There are the votes, certificates, results, booking a meal and finding somewhere to go for drinks (and in some instances blue BRFC bands!).
For some people to not come because they cant see the point is a bit of a kick in the face for the person that has had to arrange it.
And yes, we do have alot of "do's" in a year, but when was the last time all of us were at one. I dont think there has been one for a while.
Plus, we say this about every do, so in the end what happens is that we never actually do all get together.
I realise that we are all getting older and will begin to go our seperate ways more and do our own thing, but surely that makes the opportunity to get together once in a while much more appealing.
Anyway, rant over. Have a nice day.
:)
Just because Rick's surname is Life doesn't mean he can get a "Life" time acheivement award. Ho ho ho. Anyway the more the merrier. I have texted Big Rick and Nev, can't think of anyone else to invite.
I heard back from Biggus Rickus, he is coming for the meal and the drinks afterwards.
I was going to put that actually, but thought that it was a really rubbish joke!
"The Richard Life Time Achievement Award"? - any takers?
Cool, though. The numbers are swelling!!
